Creating Your First Website

In this article, we like to guide you step-by-step in creating your first website with Tezoid Web.

1. Register with Tezoid.com

To register to Tezoid Web, click here or go to Tezoid home page and click the Register link on the top of page. You will need to provide your e-mail address. Enter your e-mail address and click Register button.
On successful registration, Tezoid Web will send you a password to your registered e-mail address. Use the password to login to Tezoid Web.

2. Create a Website

Once you've logged in, you will be at the Tezoid Web Control Panel. There is a menu on the left site and a site list on the right.

On the left menu there are links as described below:
Sites - contain a list of all websites that you own.
Billing - shows you your current balance on Tezoid. You can purchase additional deposit here too.
Feedback - submit your suggestions or problems here.
Profile - your profile data

To create a website, click the Sites menu then click the Create Site button.
A new website will be created and appear on the list. The list shows the name of the new website, the domain name and the current status of the website.
As you can see, the new website that you just create is already active. So you can view your newly created website by clicking on the domain name on the list.

3. Adding Contents to the Website

Click the website name on the list to edit the websites contents. Here you have a Content menu on the left that you will be working with.
Summary - contains the detailed status of your website. This shows the name, status, uptime durations as well as the numbers of each contents.
Banner - contains your banner or slideshow images for your website
Pages - lists all your pages shown on this website
Gallery - show your photos in gallery style
News - here you post your news/blog
Products - your online store contents
Settings - customize the website (eg. change the name, domain, choose theme, enable/disable contents, etc.)

You can use the Banner, Pages, News and Products menus to add contents to your website. These four menu provide a similar way to add contents to the website.
For example, click the Pages menu. As you can see, the list is similar to the website list and all other lists on the content menu. To add a new content, click the +New button. You will be directed to an editor page. Here you fill all the boxes with the text you want to show to your website visitors. After you've finished with your editing, click Save button on the bottom of the editor screen. You will see that your newly added content appear on the list.

You can add contents to other menus the same way.

4. Customize your Website

Go to the setting menu by clicking Settings. As you can see on the left menu, there are settings for all contents of your website. Here you can turn off the contents that you don't need.

All the settings are pretty straight forward and the box name explained each of them.

In the General setting page, you can change the website name, add your company logo image, add favicon as well as description about your website that will show in the search engines.
In the Blog, Gallery and Store setting pages, you can turn on and off each of this feature, customize the name of the link and choose the style that suit your need.
The Theme setting page let you choose the style that you want for your website cosmetic appearance.

And in the Domain setting page, you can change the default domain name to your own domain name. You can purchase your domain name here.
Also there are Google and Bing/Yahoo verification code to register your website to their search engine database.

5. Turning On / Off your Website

All website created by Tezoid Web will charge you hourly which will be deducted from your deposit. The charge will be no larger than $5 per month.
You can stop your website temporarily by clicking the Suspend this Site menu. Tezoid will not charge the suspended website until the website is turned on (active) again. You can turn on the website back by clicking Activate this Site menu.

6. Deleting your Website

To delete your website, click the Delete this Site on the menu.
BEWARE: all your contents on the deleted website will be lost permanently and cannot be recovered. Use this with caution.
